Cecille A. Schramel, age 82

June 6, 1935 – December 12, 2017

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Cecille A. Schramel, age 82, who died Tuesday, December 12 at her home surrounded by her loving family.   Entombment will be in the parish cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.  Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the St. Boniface Church Narthex.

Cecille was born in St. Nicholas to Peter and Margaret (Bauer) Thul.  She married Clarence Schramel on June 6, 1955 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring, MN.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, feeding the birds, fishing, watching the MN Twins, embroidering, and playing cards.  Cecille cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the time spent with all of them. She was a member of St. Boniface Christian Women.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Schramel (Charlie Migliore), Patricia Schramel, Stephen (Carla) Schramel, Dale (Mary) Schramel, Donna Schramel, Gary (Jan) Schramel, Michael (Linda) Schramel, Jamie (Scott) Kiess, Darcy (Tom) Schmitz; Terrie Schramel (Jason Rausch), siblings, Lavern (Ralph) Torborg, Marci (Al) Udermann, Rosemary Ruprecht, Virgilette Donaldson, Eldred (JoAnn) Thul; brother-in-law, Jerry Preusser; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; granddaughter, Carley Schramel; siblings, Alvina (Billy) Birk, Betty Preusser, Elmer (Thelma) Thul, Lawrence (Louise) Thul; brother-in-law, Lawrence Ruprecht.
