Patricia A. Cook, age 84

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Patricia A. Cook age 84, who died Tuesday November 21 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids surrounded by her loving family.   Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.  Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue Thursday morning one hour prior to the service in the St. Boniface Church Narthex.

Patricia was born in Owatonna to Clifford and Alice (O’Rilly) McEnaney.  She married Dr. Richard Cook on December 28, 1957 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Owatonna, MN.  She enjoyed painting, needlework, volunteering for hospice, church and the nursing home.  Patricia was a member of AA and St. Boniface Parish.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Bob) Klein of St. Cloud, Gia (Reinold) Plate of Owatonna, Joe (Kathi) Cook of Chanhassen, Shannon (Jeff) Pederson of Cheyenne, WY, Amy Cook of Inver Grove Heights, Molly Cook of Jackson, WY, Erin Cook of Plymouth; sister, Jeanne (Jerry) Belisle of St. Paul, brother-in-law, Bob Zenk of River Falls, WI; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cook; sister, Mary Zenk and brother, Jim McEnaney.

Memorials are preferred to the Poor Claires, Alzheimer’s Association or St. Boniface Catholic Church.
