Wed., March 14 – Join us for an event hosted by CentraCare Health as they present on health care directives and end-of-life decisions. 6:30 p.m. at Assumption Home-Celebration Center, 715 1st Street North, Cold Spring. They will provide the necessary forms and have staff available to assist in answering questions and completing these documents. A health care directive is essential, we hope to see you there.

Fri., March 16 – Farming Lions 13th Annual Lenten Fish Fry from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Trapper’s Pub & Grub, Farming.

Sun., March 18 – Catholic Order of Foresters Membership Breakfast. 8:00 a.m. Mass. We will meet in the narthex before Mass and go in together. Breakfast will be served after Mass. Members with 25, 50 & 75 years will receive a pin.

Sun., March 18 – St. Joseph’s Society Breakfast in the St. Agnes Church basement, Roscoe. Serving from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Fri., March 23 – ROCORI DEF, 9:30 a.m., History Series. Speaker TBA. Free event. Sponsored by the Cold Spring Area Historical Society.

Sat., March 24 – Luxemburg. St. Wendelin Parish is sponsoring a chicken alfredo supper from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Mary Hall. Adults: $8.00, Children 5-10: $4.00, Under 5 - Free. Event also includes a raffle.

Sun., March 25 – 37th Annual St. Martin Baseball Breakfast. Serving from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Adults: $9.00 in advance. At the Door: $9.50, Children 6-12 $3.00, Preschool Free. Serving at the St. Martin Parish Center.

Sun., March 25 – Euchre Party in Basement of St. James Church of Jacobs Prairie at 7:00 p.m. Lunch will be served. Door prizes given. Any cancellations will be announced on KASM and WJON radio stations.

Mon., April 2 – The Cold Spring Home Pride Lions will host the next Red Cross Bloodmobile at St. Boniface Church's Parish Center, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Club members will be calling donors to schedule a time to donate. Sat., April 14 – Koronis Nite Owls, Paynesville, will have a Spring Flowers Square Dance with Charlie Huhtala calling. Mainstream dancing at Paynesville Elementary School will start at 7:30 until 10:00. A potluck lunch will follow the dance.

Sat., April 14 – ROCORI Senior Center Quilt Bingo at 1:00 p.m. at the Blue Heron. Lunch available from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Third Monday of each month – The Saint Cloud Area Parkinson's Disease (PD) Support Group meets from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the St. Cloud Library. There is no cost to attend, and the meetings are open to those diagnosed with PD, their families, caregivers, and the general public. Tuesdays – Catholic Charities Senior Dining and Health Promotions are offering a Diabetes Self Management Program workshop in Cold Spring at the River of Life Church, 22881 178th Ave, Cold Spring. This workshop meets one time a week for 6 weeks each Tuesday beginning on April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1 and 8th from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Minimum of 10 registered for this workshop to be presented. We ask for a Voluntary contribution for the workshop to help cover costs. This workshop falls under the Older Americans Act of 1965, where no one will be denied this service based on ability to pay or not. This workshops is meant for those 60+ in age.

Second Tuesday of Each Month – Free Blood Pressure Clinic provided by the Assumption Community from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the John Paul Apartments Dining Room.

Second & Fourth Tuesday of Each Month – St. Cloud Support Group for Families. NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) sponsors free support groups for families and friends of individuals living with a mental illness. Led by trained facilitators who also have a family member with mental illness, the support groups help families develop better coping skills and find strength through sharing their experiences. A family support group meets in St. Cloud at 7:00-8:30 p.m., on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, at Calvary Community Church, 1200 Roosevelt Road. For information, call Mike at 320-259-7101.

River Lakes Arena – Open Public Skating, Sundays 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Open Public Adult Hockey, Sundays 8:15 to 9:45 p.m. Both events are consistent all the way through March 4th, 2018. American Legion members meetings are held at the Cold Spring American Legion on the second Thursday of each month. A good will offering snack at 6:00 p.m. Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. sharp. A cash drawing and refreshments follow the meeting. Members are encouraged to attend.
